Work
Meike's photographs have been included at the All Alaska Biennial in the Anchorage Museum in Alaska, the Mt. Rokko International Photography Festival in Kobe, Japan and at Photographic Center North-West's 20th Annual Exhibition, where her diptych Sparks was honored with the first place award.
Exhibited both individually and as compositions of multiple images combined, Meike's photographs mimic the sensory and visual cues that inform recollection; both that which is highly personal but also true to experience. The physicality of that experience is often transmuted into a sprinkling of space, color, visual, and even auditory phenomena.
All images are printed in limited editions of 15 with a total of 3 artist proofs. Prints and artist books are signed and numbered.
